The Scientific-Technological Center of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA STCOPC) was established in accordance with the decree No. 1530-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on October 12, 2006. The center integrates the following research institutes:
- A. Mnjoyan Institute of Fine Organic Chemistry (founded in 1955)
- Institute of Organic Chemistry (founded in 1957)
- Center for Molecular Structure Studies (founded in 1994)
Personnel and Research Output
Currently, the center employs 284 specialists, including 189 researchers, among whom there are 2 corresponding members of the NAS RA, 19 doctors of sciences, and 83 candidates of sciences.
Over the past three years, the center’s researchers have published 384 scientific articles and conference abstracts in national and international scientific forums. Additionally, they have secured 3 patents granted by the Republic of Armenia and successfully defended 16 PhD dissertations within the same period.
Scientific Conferences and Publications
